After the controversial crowning moment of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach from the Philippines, first runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez took to Instagram to pay tribute to the moment when Seal onstage and give advice to her fans.
On Dec. 24, Thursday, Gutierrez posted an Instagram photo of herself on the Miss Universe 2015 stage with Seal holding her hand while singing. She captioned it, "Living this magical moment, walking on stage to "Kiss from a Rose", the song I always listened to in rehearsals, whilst dreaming to be lucky enough to walk the stage while Seal was singing it..."
"It was exactly how I imagined it would be," Gutierrez also wrote. "Don't give up on your dreams. If you really believe in them, they can become a reality."
"Kiss from a Rose" is from Seal's eponymous album released on May 23, 1994. It was released again in 1995 as part of the soundtrack of the film "Batman Forever," which starred Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Aside from Seal, the other artists who performed during the Miss Universe 2015 coronation night, which aired live on Dec. 20, Sunday, on Fox Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, were Charlie Puth and The Band Perry.
On the red carpet of Miss Universe 2015, Puth told Los Angeles Times that he was nervous performing on the piano while being surrounded by the most beautiful women in the world. He performed his collaboration song with Meghan Trainor titled "Marvin Gaye."
On the other hand, The Band Perry performed "Live Forever" and "Done." The band's upcoming album "Heart + Beat" is set to be released in 2016, according to Hollywood Life.
