Fresh rumors suggest that Samsung will be four editions of Galaxy S7 namely, S7, S7+, S7 Edge and S7 Edge+ and all of them will be featuring an iris scanner.

In this year, Samsung had launched Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both the smartphones feature 5.1-inch display. ITSKINS a third-party accessory maker has revealed renders of four different variants of Galaxy S7.

This year, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to arrive with a 5.2-inch display. However, the Galaxy S7 Edge that will accompany it will not be featuring a same-sized display. It is expected to arrive with a larger screen of 5.5-inch.

According to Android Authority, the dimensions of Galaxy S7 are 143 x 70.5 mm are almost same as that of Galaxy S6. However, it will be coming with a larger screen of 5.2-inch that will boast a screen-to-body ratio of 73.94 percent. Samsung Galaxy S6 delivers a ratio of 70.7 percent.

The dimensions of Galaxy S7 Edge are 151 x 73 mm whereas the Galaxy S6 Edge measures 142 x 70.1 mm that also indicates that S7 Edge will be arriving with a larger display of 5.5-inch. It will deliver a screen-to-body ratio of 76.62 percent. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ offers a similar screen-to-body ratio of 75.9 percent and 75.6 percent, respectively.

Samsung is also expected to release a larger edition of Galaxy S7 that will be released in the market as Galaxy S7+ with a 6-inch display. It will be accompanied by Galaxy S7 Edge+ featuring a dual-edge curved screen display of 6-inch, GSM Arena reported.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is poised to get announced on Feb. 20 through the Unpacked 2016 event. Rumors are rife that all four Galaxy S7 variants will be coming with iris scanner biometric recognition feature.
