"19 Kids and Counting" alum Amy Duggar King's parents are reportedly splitting up.
According to People, the reality TV star's parents are divorcing after nine years of being together.
Jim Bob's sister Deanna and Terry Jordan wed in 2006. Both of them reportedly filed for a divorce on Dec. 20 citing intolerable treatment as their main reason for splitting up.
According to Design N Trend, King is already 27 years old. This means that her parents had her out of wedlock. The publication added that this could be considered a big no-no for the conservative family.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, King herself confirmed the reports that she was born way before her parents got married.
"The tabloids are telling the truth, my mom and dad did have me out of wedlock. Just because we are Christians doesn't make us perfect, it just makes us forgiven. Just because I share the Duggar name doesn't mean my life is perfect... I'm sure my mom was scared, young, ridiculed, and felt ashamed," she wrote.
Meanwhile, King was reportedly one of the few people from the Duggar family who has been convincing Josh's wife Anna to file for a divorce.
Anna and King developed a close relationship, and the latter was deeply affected when she found out that her cousin Josh sexually molested her other cousins as well as a few other young girls.
However, both King and Anna have not confirmed whether or not these reports are true.
"19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled by TLC a few months back.
