iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Download Now Available in TaiG Website

iOS 8.4 jailbreak users are warned not to download and install the Apple's recently released the iOS 8.4.1 update as it patches the TaiG jailbreak.

Chinese developing group TaiG has provided Apple users with jailbreaks compatible to the different versions of iOS 8. When the official iOS 8.4 was released, TaiG was quick in releasing the latest iOS 8.4 jailbreak. This week, TaiG rolled out the Mac version of the update.

Meanwhile, Chinese jailbreaking PP released its own version of iOS 8.4 jailbreak right after TaiG. However, the two jailbreaking groups got into a feud after the latter claimed that PP stole their code in order to release its own jailbreak.

The jailbreak tool can be downloaded in TaiG's official website and is compatible with the iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus; iPad 2 or later; iPad Mini or later and fifth generation iPod Touches running software between iOS 8.1.3 and 8.4.

As expected, Apple released iOS 8.4.1 update today bringing minor performance updates as well as bug fixes. Unfortunately, the latest iOS 8.4.1 update also put an end to iOS 8.4 jailbreak. Apple also specially cited TaiG for finding the weakness of the iOS 8.4. Apple viewed jailbreak as a security threat and as an opportunity for hackers to compromised data in Apple devices, GottaBeMobile reported.

TaiG has not confirmed whether it will release a new version of its jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1. Other jailbreaking groups also remained mum whether they are working on new jailbreaks. However, there are rumors claiming that iOS 9 jailbreak are in the works based from the beta versions of the operating system.
