Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 is slated for June 12-16. The entire gaming industry will meet in Los Angeles to display the biggest games that will be played this year and beyond. Fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise are eager to get some information about "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" during the upcoming E3 2016.
The last time avid fans received information about the remake was at Playstation Experience in early December 2015. The then released trailer gave players the first enticing glimpse of the modified combat system, currently a hybrid of the Active Time Battle system and real-time combat, according to IGN. Furthermore, gamers had a chance to see Cloud navigate Midgar City in new ways such as ducking under objects and squeezing between walls.
Fans will be excited to see a revamp of the "Final Fantasy 7" summons, especially Knights of the Round. Seeing 13 Knights slaughter an enemy in HD is something to get players hyped. They also expect to see the Gold Saucer, which was among the most fascinating locales in the original "Final Fantasy 7."
While "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" premiered at E3 2015, it is unlikely that fans will see the same this year. The game developer, Square Enix" will probably focus on promoting "Final Fantasy XV," which is scheduled to release on Sept. 30.
Meanwhile, the recent earnings presentation from the game developer revealed several titles to be released in 2016, according to VideoGamer. The listed titles include "World of Final Fantasy," "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," and the PS4 version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider." "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is missing in the list.
The game developer has issued a statement that the slide presentation is not a complete line-up of titles to be launched in 2016. Since gamers have been clamoring for the release of the remake, it was expected that Square Enix should include the game in the list.
For now, fans should remain patient to see what will be unveiled during the imminent E3 2016. Here is a sneak peek for more information on the much-awaited "Final Fantasy 7 Remake."
