Following the remarkable speech by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the 95th anniversary celebration of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on July 1, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) announced that it will lead an educational campaign promoting the party's history, Women of China reported.
The organization released the notice on July 5 and requires "women's federations at all levels to give priority to implementing the important spirit of [Xi's] speech," the article said.
Under the campaign, ACWF will be holding various online and offline activities across the country to help intensify the awareness on the roots of the CPC.
At the grassroots level, select female Party members will be invited to Women's Home centers in different communities to lend their stories as to how they became a talent under the care of the nearly century-old Party.
Online, the group will also present inspiring Party stories via the media platform, Women Voice. The platform will cater to various forms of storytelling, such as words, photos, and video and audio materials.
On the same page, ACWF will also publish a CPC-themed classical song on a weekly basis. This is another avenue for an engaging activiity as grassroots federations are encouraged to help their women learn the song and hold singing contests.
Apart from this, ACWF is aslo set to stage social practice activities among exceptional female undergraduates. Slated this upcoming summer holiday, the event will include visiting revolutionary sites to help rekindle the enthusiasm of the women of the new generation.
To further revive the CPC spirit, especially among women, ACWF also eyes to release inspiring stories of female Party members that stood out during the past 95 years. They will also put the life and works of 80 female Red Army members on public display.
Moreover, ACWF invites all other grassroots foundations to make innovation by themselves while carrying out this national campaign. The federation is hopeful that this will help grassroots women start business, conduct poverty alleviation and promote the proper implementation of laws.
