Josh Duggar will still be part of the next season of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," but this time, to address the sex scandal he has been involved with. TLC cancelled the "19 Kids and Counting" TV show after several police records were uncovered linking Duggar on allegedly molesting five underage girls.
Despite this, he will still be appearing on his sisters' spinoff show "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" to address all the controversies of his sex scandal. A reliable source said in an interview, "Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters' series. The plan is for him to address everything he's done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC - and the Duggars - know it," Hollywood Life reported.
The 28-year old star just finished his six-month rehab after deciding to appear on the said TV series. It can be recalled that Duggar did admit cheating on his wife. The admission included details of him viewing pornography and using the affair site, Ashley Madison.
In a statement released at The Duggar Family site, Duggar said, "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."
During the past months, negative feedbacks were received from viewers after it was reported that the Duggar family will be returning via "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." The return may not be a surprise for some as "19 Kids and Counting" was one of the most watched TV shows during the time it was airing. When the show was cancelled, TLC reportedly lost around $19 million with the Duggars being greatly affected financially.
The next season of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" is expected to focus on the entire Duggar family that just Jill and Jessa. With regards to Josh addressing his sex scandal, there had been no confirmation given by TLC or any rightful authority as of the moment.
