"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 trailer has officially debuted on ABC with spoilers revealing a new flame for Arizona, a love interest, a love triangle between two sisters and a possible jail time for one of Grey's doctors.
On "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12, the season came to an end with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) separated in an uncompromising situation as Arizona got custody of their daughter. Not much was show for Callie's character in last season who remained void for the duration.
According to LA Times, during an interview "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes unveiled that Arizona will be falling in love again. Rhimes had already hinted that actress Sara Ramirez who acts Callie not be part of "Grey's Anatomy Season 13." Hence, the separation of the duos in the last season was a perfect exit for the Grey's doctor.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 has not revealed yet who Arizona's partner will be since Capshaw will not appear in the first two episodes of the season. In May, Capshaw gave birth to a daughter and Rhimes has given her a period to attend to her motherly chores for the first two episodes.
Meanwhile, while a new love brewing is anticipated in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, another relationship may see a dead end, that is Nathan (Martin Henderson) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). Meredith went for a one night stand with her half-sister Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) only love interest, Riggs (Martin Henderson). After Derek (Patrick Dempsey) died, Maggie has been helping Meredith take care of her kids, TV Line reported.
Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Alex (Justin Chambers) may end up to jail time for his fight with De Luca in the last season that landed the latter in the ER.
More importantly, his relationship with Jo (Camilla Luddington) who he thought had something going on with De Luca may be affected.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will air on Thursday, Sept.22 on ABC.
