The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature new characters headed to the roster and Bandai Namco to promote the game in Russia and in other regions.
Bandai Namco Entertainment plans to have a worldwide tour for "Tekken 7" as a way to promote the sequel not just in the arcade scene, but the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The worldwide "Tekken 7" tour will include other regions outside North America and Europe such as Russia.
Game director Katsuhiro Harada acknowledges the idea of a "Tekken 7" world tour as a necessary to expand to the mentioned regions. This is to discover other players of "Tekken 7" who can be tested for their skills which can be a potential "world-level" in eSport competitions, GameNGuide reported.
In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding the next batch of characters that are joining the roster of "Tekken 7" soon.
Five characters have been theorized to join "Tekken 7" and these are Lei Wulong, Anna Williams, Julia Chang, Zafina and Roger Jr., EventHubs reported.
It is heavily speculated that Lei Wulong could return to "Tekken 7" as the game's first DLC character. Game producer Katsuhiro Harada tweeted an answer to a fan asking if Lei will be added to "Tekken 7's" roster and stated that their is still a chance for him to included, however, he explained the usage for the character was very low and their effort was not enough.
As for Roger Jr., his chances of being included are rather unlikely as Harada and Bandai Namco has a "tough decision" on adding more non-human characters like Kuma and Roger Jr. in "Tekken 7". With that in mind, their decision might prompt a mixed response from gaming fans as some would prefer not add them in the roster, while others want them as they have been part of the "Tekken" series,
Julia Chang, Anna Williams and Zafina have not been added to "Tekken 7's" roster and Bandai Namco still consider them in the roster due the popularity these three have in past games.
So far, the roster of "Tekken 7" include Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Lars Alexanderson, Alisa, Asuka, Lili, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Nina, Bryan Fury, Leo, Feng Wei, Yoshimitsu, Xiaoyu, Dragunov, Bob, Miguel and Devil Jin.
