The latest details for "Grand Theft Auto 5" will feature two new game modes and cities in "GTA Online", as well as leaked 2017 DLC plans for the game.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding two new game modes for "GTA Online" within "Grand Theft Auto 5" as recent data mines show that two new game modes are called "Deadline" and "Kill Quota".
Rockstar Games recently released the Bikers Expansion on "GTA Online" followed by the "Halloween" DLC expansion, which introduced a new Adversary game mode called "Lost vs. Damned". The brand new mode will be a classic battle between the forces of good and evil, as hordes of Devils and hosts of Angels battle it out for the right to rule.
"Lost vs. Damned" mode features a unique day and night cycle which switches every 60 seconds. In addition, bonuses are granted to Angels, which includes a buffed up armor, health, and weapon load outs. The same thing then happens to Devils during the night, which means that each team has to take advantage of the bonus time they are given to defeat the other team.
The game mode also gave out the easter eggs for the two new game modes and it is speculated that "Kill Quota" could launch as the final update for "GTA Online" by December, Express UK reported.
In other news, it seems that DLC plans for "Grand Theft Auto 5" in 2017 have been leaked online as Rockstar Games plans to expand the sequel by adding four cities. These cities include San Fierro, Las Venturas, Vice City and Liberty City.
Liberty City is the equivalent of New York and has been featured as the main setting in "Grand Theft Auto 3", "Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories" and "Grand Theft Auto 4". Vice City is based on Miami and it appeared in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories", and also heavily rumored to be a setting in "GTA 6". San Fierro and Las Venturas are part of the whole San Andreas setting in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" as the game's version of San Francisco and Las Vegas.
Username SOFTSECRETS claimed that Rocstar Games had the cities in production since the "Grand Theft Auto 5's" development, however, the developers had to be put off due to the limitations of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. If the rumor became true, then gamers could see a release of North Yankton (GTA's version of Canada) and Liberty City in the early months of 2017.
Aside from the cities, there are likely new updates for the "Bikers" DLC such as new bikes, clothes and free roam missions, as well as the "A Law and Order" DLC in "GTA Online", which may include vehicles purchased through activated free roam police missions.
The "Grand Theft Auto 5" single player DLC is also said to be replaced with a new Online Map expansion model. In addition, a pre order bonus of one million Casino chips in the game are also added, iTechPost reported.
So far, Rockstar Games is yet to confirm these possible DLC plans for "GTA Online" and in "Grand Theft Auto 5".
"Grand Theft Auto 5" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
