2NE1 comeback may happen sooner than later as fans are slowly accepting Park Bom's return and expressed their desire to see Park Bom on stage.
After almost two years of avoiding the spotlight because of her drug scandal, Park Bom is seen in public many times. If rumors proved to be true, 2NE1's comeback may be scheduled for 2017.
Park Bom sparked the speculations of 2NE1's return when she posted a photo of her in a Moomin Café with a caption that reads, "It's Ppoong Ppoong's family. Isn't it cute when the family's together? There's a Moomin Cafe even in Korea. Everyone. I am doing well. Let's meet soon~~~!? Ok? I love you."
The words "Let's meet soon" resonated with 2NE1's fans Blackjacks who are eagerly waiting for the girl group's return. Blackjacks gushed over the possibility of the girls' return after two years. Their last performance as a group was in Mnet Asian Music Awards 2015 where they made a surprise appearance for their fans.
YG Entertainment is reportedly laying the groundwork for 2NE1's much awaited comeback. Park Bom is slowly reentering the industry starting her way in social media. She made a new Instagram account and is testing the reactions of netizens who once criticized her for her drug scandal.
Many were surprised upon Park Bom's breaking her hiatus from social media. However, her fans gave the 2NE1's main vocal a warm welcome.
It is suspected that 2NE1 will wait until CL wraps up her North American and Canadian tour. Moreover, 2NE1 main producer Teddy is still busy producing songs with BLACKPINK as well as promoting his label under YG Entertainment - BLACK LABEL.
2NE1 will be back as a trio after maknae Minzy left the group and the agency. However, YG Entertainment has no official statement regarding 2NE1's comeback. Watch Park Bom video clip below.
