The latest details for "Red Dead Redemption 2" will feature a leaked release date and three possible main characters in the sequel.
It seems that the release date of "Red Dead Redemption" has been revealed online as a leaked image of the sequel placed an Autumn 2017 launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, thus confirming the Fall release, Gamerant reported.
"Red Dead Redemption 2's" release has been a fact for gamers ever since the Rockstar Games launched its first teaser trailer last year, unless the game could be delayed. Rockstar has been known for taking its time with projects, and very rarely does the studio stick to its first release date. An example of this is "Grand Theft Auto 5‘s" original release date was early 2013, but the game was eventually pushed back to the fall of that same year.
Still gaming fans will just have to wait for Rockstar Games later announcements for "Red Dead Redemption 2" within 2017.
In other new, "Red Dead Redemption 2" will not likely have one playable character as several rumors are making rounds that the sequel will feature three playable characters in its story mode along with an open-world map, stranger events, gang hideouts and an online mode.
This is somewhat surprising for most gaming fans as the game features are similar to that of "GTA 5" were in the story sees three playable characters; Franklin, Michael and Trevor. In addition, more details for the Online Mode will be revealed by Rockstar Games very soon, Express Uk reported.
As Rockstar Games explain it, "Red Dead Redemption 2's" online mode dubbed "Red Dead Online" will likely have a similar gameplay set as "GTA Online", but with key differences seperating it from its fellow Rockstar game.
The company previously tweeted hiring new candidates for an Operations Manager, which according to the job description, the chosen applicant will be handling an entire project life cycle and that would also include the quality testing of for Rockstars' upcoming video games.
Rockstar Games is also looking for video game testers, which have experience using Xbox Live, PSN, Steam and Rockstar Social Club. Another job post revealed that Rockstar is also looking for a .Net Engineer and is stated to placed on a team that will focus in improving online gaming performance.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" will be release on the Fall 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
