The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature Niflheim map in episode Prompto DLC and the PC version to launch next year.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a new map location in "Final Fantasy XV's" upcoming DLC episodes as Niflheim will likely be featured in episode Prompto. Square Enix will be adding new chapters in "Final Fantasy XV" storyline focusing on Noctis allies/friends Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto.
The speculated Niflheim map will likely happen in Prompto's chapter during the game's main story were in Noctis, Gladio, and Ignis went on to search for Prompto after he fell off the train while on Niflheim territory.
Episode Prompto DLC might explore Prompto's time when he was left alone to survive throughout the enemy terrain and explore more of his past. as Prompto’s backstory is related to Niflheim, were he is once a guinea pig of the Empire and managed to escape their facility, iTech Post reported.
The first DLC storyine, Episode Gladiolus will have players explore his side of the story as the latter will face a new boss Gilgamesh.
In addition, new playable characters were teased in "Final Fantasy XV's" DLC such as Lunafreya Nox Flueret, Iris Amicita, Aranea Highwind and Cor Leonis.
Luna as playable character has been hinted during past reports as Sawatari stated that they will add her in the party if the gaming fans have demanded it.
As for Iris, Cor and Aranea, these three have been used in "Final Fantasy XV" as guest characters to support the main party of Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus.
In other news, Game director Hajime Tabata stated in an interview that it will take more than a year for "Final Fantasy XV" to develop for the PC as he and his team wanted to provide a better version of the game for users compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
PC users were adamant about having "Final Fantasy XV" for the PC going to the point that they made online petition for Square Enix to think and reconsider several years back due to being focused on the console versions, WCCFTech reported.
It has been rumored that the PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" could launch next year along with "Final Fantasy 7" remake, but Square Enix dismissed it as being just a "rumor".
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
