The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature the Xbox One version, new game details and a possible release date next month.
It seems that the Xbox One version of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still in the works after gaming fans were panicking about the the console being removed from the upcoming sequel.
However Square Enix stated that the the ICXM confirmed that the removal of the Xbox logo was a mistake in their part and since then "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be available for the game console, Ubergizmo reported.
Meanwhile, Square Enix will likely reveal more game details and a possible release date for "Kingdom Hearts 2" at the upcoming Monaco Anime Game International Conferences event or MAGIC on Feb.19 alongside "Final Fantasy 7" remake.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura will be present during the event as it would interesting to see what kind of announcement he will make regarding "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3" considering that Nomura stated he will reveal more details for both games after "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue" is release this month, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Previous reports teased that Riku and King Mickey will have a larger role in "Kingdom Hearts 3" as it was revealed in the ending scene in "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage" revealed that Aqua sacrificed herself to save Riku and close the door to Kingdom Hearts.
Riku along with King Mickey will head on a journey find to find a battle-scarred Keyblade wielder, who will help them in the coming Keyblade War against Master Xehanort and his new Organization XIII and perhaps this Keyblade wielder is Aqua.
Nomura also teased that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will likely have a character customization similar to Aqua in "Kingdom Heart HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue". But Nomura stated that he is still unsure if the character customization feature will be incorporated in "Kingdom Hearts 3" in time, explaining that they have a lot of priorities ahead of them soon.
They also conducted trial and errors about the "Situation Command" and how to display them so it will not look like a simple QTE, etc. "Situation Commands" are an evolution of "Kingdom Hearts 2's" Reaction Commands and would play a integral part in "Kingdom Hearts 3".
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
