"X-Factor" judge Louis Walsh blasted co-panelist, Simon Cowell, for not having a proper grip on his boy band, One Direction.
Walsh, who himself had managed some of the UK's biggest bands including HomeTown in the past, declared that he would have never let his boy band air their their dirty laundry on social media.
"I would have given them a good b**locking - they would know never to do anything like that," Mirror quoted the 62-year-old entertainment manager. "I would probably sack them."
Walsh also scolded the One Direction members by saying that they would be nowhere without Cowell, who was responsible for their success and popularity. He also said that Cowell has now lost control of the band.
However, the Irish mogul sounded unperturbed over Malik's departure and reassured the 1D fans by saying that his departure is not the end of the boyband and they are a global phenomenon just like Rolling Stone, MTV reported.
The comments were made after Louis Tomlinson got embroiled in a Twitter fight with Naughty Boy, the present music producer of Zayn Malik. After spending five years with the band, Malik left the band abruptly leaving the 1D fans heartbroken and shocked
A pic uploaded by the music producer of him and Malik in the studio triggered an online exchange of spats and harsh words, after which former 1D singer also waded in targeting his former bandmate.
"Remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?" tweeted Malik to Tomlinson in defense of his producer. Soon after the tweet, Malik was criticized heavily for shouting out at his former band mate.
Following his departure, Malik announced that he decided to leave the band so as to pursue a solo career and soon hinted his association with Naughty Boy.
