Rumors keep on coming up claiming that the Nexus 5 2015 will be released as the flagship smartphone of the upcoming Android M operating system.
Google has kept its silence about release details of the Nexus 5 2015 as well as the Android M OS. However, based on Google's previous released dates, it might be possible to see the Nexus 5 2015 within the fourth quarter of the year. On the other hand, the Android M operating system is expected to be rolled out in the third quarter.
According to Geek Snack, the Nexus 5 2015 will be released with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of internal memory. The handset will be released in two models depending on storage capacity, 64GB and 128GB. The microSD slot used for storage expansion will be removed.
Additional specs include an upgraded 16megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 5megapixel front camera with wide-angle lens. The Nexus 5 2015 is also rumored to support wireless and fast charging technology as well as a USB Type C port.
Many tech experts are saying that the Nexus 5 2015 should have an upgraded battery. This issue could be fixed by an upgrade on the smartphone's physical battery or Google can introduce a battery-saving feature on its operating system.
The Nexus 5 2015 is expected to have an upgraded chassis made of carbon fiber.
According to Vine Report, the Nexus 5 2015 will be manufactured by LG. Additionally, a bigger model of the device will be manufactured by China-based company Huawei. The Huawei Angler is expected to have a 5.7-inch screen which an upgrade to the rumored 5.2-inch display of the one made by LG.
