It appears that David Beckham is heartbroken as one of his sons reveals the pressure of becoming a footballer like him. A heartbreaking confession by Beckham's son also led to his anguish.
The former England renowned footballer has revealed that his sons are uncertain about following his steps, since the pressure thrown their way is way too high. Beckham said that he would "love" them to become professional footballers, his children should only do so if playing the game made them happy, Telegraph reported.
It appears that it is not easy for the sons of Beckham to follow his lead as the legacy that Beckham has left behind is putting too much strain on his family, especially onto his kids.
Beckham revealed that one of his boys told him that he is not sure if he wants to play football all the time. It broke Beckham's heart to hear these words. Beckham further added that his son told him, "Every time that I step onto the field, I know people are saying, this is David Beckham's son." His kids believe that if they are not good enough as their dad, then it's useless to even play football at all.
Although Beckham would want to see his children follow his lead, he still prefers to see his kids play football because they love playing the sports that he had been famous for. Victoria and David Beckham have three sons and one daughter - 16-year-old Brooklyn, 13-year-old Romeo, 10-year-old Cruz and 4-year-old Harper, The Independent reported.
On other Beckham news, one of Beckham's children was recently in the limelight. Beckhams' eldest son Brooklyn was on the cover of Miss Vogue, which gained him 4 million followers on Instagram. Although the numbers are high, it appears that Beckham's are checking every post on their son's social media account.
