Disney and Pixar has released a new trailer for the family movie "The Good Dinosaur" showing how man and dinos can work together.
The film has a very interesting premise that if the asteroid missed and dinosaurs lived who would rule our planet?
The main character in the story is Arlo, an Apatosaurus who got separated from his dad and in the process finds a human friend named Spot. In the process, Arlo discovers how to conquer his fears and learns empathy.
According to Forbes, the movie still is gorgeous and emotional despite the talking animals. The storyline is evocative and will definitely move viewers.
After not producing anything in 2014, Pixar surprised everyone with two outstanding films this year, "Inside Out" and "The Good Dinosaur" which is showing this Thanksgiving, Cinema Blend reports.
The movie also shows how the animals have evolved into more intelligent creatures with humans taking their cue from four-legged mammals.
The cast includes Raymond Ochoa (Arlo), Jeffrey Wright (Poppa), Jack Bright (Spot), Steven Hahn (Thunderclap), A.J. Buckley (Nash), Anna Paquin (Ramsey), Sam Elliot (Butch), Frances McDormand (Momma), and Marcus Scribner (Buck).
The movie is directed by Bob Peterson and Peter Sohn. Meg LeFauve wrote the screenplay. She is also the writer and producer of "Inside Out" so expect this film to be a great one.
It would be a tall order to say that it will be better but knowing that the brains behind "Inside Out" is the same one behind "The Good Dinosaur" the chances of it being excellent is pretty high.
"The Good Dinosaur" hits theaters on November 25, 2015 in 2D and 3D.
