"Avatar 2" is slated to have a war themed plot with prisons. The darker version of human and Na'vi relation is set to convert into a deadly war. Lovers Jake and Neytiri are bound to serve their tribe but will they be able to stay together?
Jake Sully and Neytiri are rumored to be victims of the war and might have to part ways to come out stronger and better. Col. Miles Quaritch is coming back to the "Avatar" franchise and will make it difficult for Jake and Neytiri to stay together.
According to Deadline, Stephen Lang will make a comeback for his character Col. Miles Quaritch. Director James Cameron has confirmed his return and said that Stephen Lang reminds him of Darth Vader of "Star Wars". He further added, "His character will evolve into really unexpected places across the arc of our new three-film saga."
There is going to unfold a bigger platform for story to develop in "Avatar 2." In his interview with Empire, James Cameron opened up about back-to-back sequels of "Avatar" franchise and said, "I can tell you one thing about them. They're gonna be bitchin'. You will sh*t yourself with your mouth wide open."
It is known that James Cameron has always wanted to achieve perfection. The "Titanic" director is working simultaneously for Avatar 2, 3 and 4. The upcoming "Avatar" movies will feature and explore oceans of Pandora, which is rumored to be new Na'vi home. To add to the dark side of the story, new characters and beings will be introduced.
"Avatar 2" is scheduled to release on December 25, 2017. The cast includes Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Sam Worthington as Jake Sully. Also, joining is Sigourney Weaver but her role in the film is still not revealed. Michelle Rodriguez is no more part of "Avatar" franchise.
