"Star Wars Battlefront" will feature new details on the game's DLC season pass and a new game trailer showcasing the Battle of Jakku from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film.
Electronic Arts and DICE began streaming a new game trailer for "Star Wars Battlefront" that features one of the settings in the upcoming film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", which is the Battle of Jakku. The latest Star Wars film will heavily feature the desert planet of Jakku as details from the trailer takes place 29 years before the events of Episode VII, during the last days of the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, Screenrant reported.
As seen in the trailer, massive battles and dead corpses on both sides have gone out of control and gamers and fans will see a falling Imperial Star Destroyer, which is featured in teaser trailer from "Star Wars: Force Awakens".
EA plans to make the Battle of Jakku a DLC for the game and it will be released for free on the consoles and PC platform on Dec. 8, two weeks prior to the premier of "Star Wars: Force Awakens" movie.
Aside from the new trailer, there are also new details on the DLC season pass for "Star Wars Battlefront" as EA's chief operating officer Peter Moore revealed that there will be four expansion packs for the game, creating a "new universe" in the Star Wars franchise, Gamespot reported.
Moore added that the four expansions will be announced by EA in just 12-18 months and teased new character models and weapons for "Star Wars Battlefront". DICE and EA plans to have the "Star Wars Battlefront" season passes for $50 with the actually game at $60.
The latest Star Wars shooter will feature playable characters from the franchise such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Boba Fett and Emperor Palpatine, as well as several game modes such as "Walker Assault", "Drop Zone", "Survival" and many more.
"Star Wars Battlefront" will be release on Nov. 17 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
