"Resident Evil" actress Milla Jovovich has shown fans a glimpse of an old version of her character in line with Paul W.S. Anderson's upcoming action sci-fi film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."
Jovovich has played Alice in various films of the "Resident Evil" saga. The actress posted a photo of her on Instagram on Nov. 19 and it featured her in make-up for Anderson's much anticipated final installment "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." With her wrinkled skin and gray hair, it is notable that Jovovich's old Alice version is very much different from her young Alice.
According to Jovovich, the artists had taken more than four hours to create the old Alice for their shooting, so she thanked Christina Smith, Andrea Leanza, Federica Castelli, and make-up and hair designer Kerry on the social media platform.
Jovovich also posted more photos of her, including a "sexy selfie" not for the faint-hearted. She revealed the old Alice look was not for the end of the upcoming film. Her photos indicate that fans are going to see an old Alice story arc in the "Resident Evil" saga and the old Alice would get a decent screen time, according to Cinema Blend.
Since Jovovich has teased that her old Alice look was not simply intended for the conclusion of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," it is possible for the film to present a storyline that has a series of flashbacks, according to Movie Pilot. Fans should not to worry since the "Resident Evil" star had also shared a photo of her, in her battle look, along with her daughter Dashiel.
Picking up from the events in "Resident Evil: Retribution," "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is set to see Alice return to Racoon City, the place where the nightmare began and where the Umbrella Organization is gathering its forces for the last strike against the remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
Aside from Jovovich, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" also stars Ali Larter, Ruby Rose, Iain Glen, William Levy, Shawn Roberts, Eoin Macken, Joon-Gi Lee, and Rola, among others.
With Anderson set to helm the film, Jeremy Bolt, Samuel Hadida, Victor Hadida, Robert Kulzer, Martin Maszkowicz, and Janine van Assen will co-produce the film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," which is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Jan. 27, 2017.
