Bandai Namco is hyping up its upcoming title "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." This time, the publisher has released a couple of screenshots and a gameplay trailer featuring battle scenes.
The newest batch of screenshots show off the story mode for the game, which shows off the Fourth Shinobi World War. There are also flashback shots, showing off what happened between Madara and Hashirama, Hardcore Gamer. The source features a few of the screenshots, including Kaguya and some online features.
There is even a character popularity leaderboards, which show the most popularly used characters in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." Another screenshot shows off the Limited Time Only Event, which shows the progressive rewards that players can get with each battle played and won.
In the trailer, Kakashi and Obita team up to fight against Itachi and Shisui, Gematsu reported. Fans also get a glimpse of the Susano-o in action. Kakashi's transformation into this form shows a Tengu-looking creature with a silvery blue appearance.
Recently, CyberConnect 2 and Bandai Namco have also confirmed that fans will still be able to play single round matches in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." This fight type follows what has been previously seen in the likes of "Naruto Storm Revolution." Players now have more options in the kind of gameplay that they want to participate in, whether it be single or multiple rounds of fighting.
The developer has also confirmed that there will be at least 10 hours of cinematic fighting and action, since "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will feature a couple of arcs. Among these are Genesis and The Final Showdown, the latter of which features Kagura and the battle for the Ninja world.
"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will launch on Feb. 9, 2016 for North America. Japan will get it a few days earlier on Feb. 4, 2016. It will come out on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
