Donald Trump said he had "far better judgment" than the presidential rival Ted Cruz, questioning the Republican's front-runner.
Trump told a CNN interview that he was against going into Iraq, continued that he "was for bombing (ISIS) oil long before anyone else was talking about it." Trump continued saying, "I have great judgment. I would say I have far better judgment than Ted."
As Des Moines Register/Bloomberg News released its latest poll which shows that Cruz is ahead of Trump in Iowa with 31 percent to 21 percent, the rival between the two is expected to increase. Moreover, the two will be facing at the Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas, the report said.
Cruz questioned the judgment of Trump and Ben Carson n leading the country according to the New York Times audio released last week, saying that Americans are looking for who is prepared to be a commander in chief to understand the threats the country is facing, the report added.
"'Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?' Now that's a question of strength, but it's also a question of judgment," Cruz said, adding that the recent issue on Paris and San Bernardino needs a leader who will face and address problems with strength and better judgment.
Trump also said about the strong temperament of Cruz, but he said he has a better temperament, saying that he is "more capable" to lead and so the people should choose him over Cruz.
