"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature Ciri, Yennfer, Triss and Shani as playable characters in a new mod gameplay, as well as a possible launch date for "Blood and Wine" DLC next month.
Mod gamer ParKan showcased a new mo gameplay as players can now control the four female characters in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" such as Yennefer, Triss Merigold, Shani and Ciri. YouTube username BR34K was able to upload a gameplay video featuring the modded characters as audiences can tell that when using these female characters they are still controlling them as Geralt because of the combat animation and that gameplay cutscenes that are meant for him, Gamerant reported.
The mod gameplay video also allows gamers to choose which character they want to accompany them as a younger CIri and an unnamed archer were used to replace the older Ciri in the game. Gamers have expected that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature tons of in-game modification and customization due to CD Projekt RED's ModKits for the sequel.
Aside from the new mod gameplay, it seems that "The Witcher 3" Wild Hunt's" second DLC, "Blood and Wine" will likely launch in the early months of 2016 around January-June.
Community Manager Marcin Momot stated the he and the rest of CD Projekt RED's staff are still discussing "Blood and Wine's" possible launch date and encouraging gaming fans on giving some feedback for the DLC's development and in-game features. Momot added that the patch 1.12 update will also be included in the "Blood and Wine" DLC, International Business Time reported.
The second DLC will feature Geralt travelling to the region of Touissant as the kingdom holds a dark secret that masked its peaceful atmosphere. "Blood and Wine" will feature a new gameplay mechanic unique only to the DLC similar to "Hearts of Stone" and it is said that its gameplay will have atleast 20 hours than the first DLC.
Geralt will encounter new monsters such as Stringas, Bruxas and Manticores, as well as characters like Frangello Vigo, the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
