A sneak peek for the upcoming "Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 20 surfaced recently. In the teaser, fans are treated to some critical insights for the series even as executive producer Jeff Davis dished on the identity of Dread Doctors.
From the sneak peek, it is evident that Valack (Steven Brand) also had a mask similar to the Dread Doctors. Nurse Cross (Mandy Levin) brings Valack into the Eichen House where he was keeping the mask.
As Valack takes a helmet out of the cabinet, Nurse Cross is interested to know whether he still knows how to use it. Valack instead puts the helmet on Nurse Cross so that she can try it.
As a result, fans should expect seeing an interesting twist of events. There are many questions about Valack, which will definitely be addressed in the upcoming episodes.
Meanwhile, Davis revealed to Entertainment Weekly some details about other Dread Doctors. The executive producer said, "We've been treating the 20 episodes as one storyline, so this thing will wrap up in 520 [season 5, episode 20. You'll know the fate of the Dread Doctors, you'll know the fate of all of our characters, and how it leads into season 6."
Furthermore, Davis shared some information about some production elements of the movie. He revealed that the makeup effects team did a fantastic job, especially for underneath the surgeons' masks.
"The makeup for underneath the surgeons' masks, David added. He said their makeup effects artist did a phenomenal job and they are happy about it, which viewers will see eventually.
Fans of the series should also expect learning more about the villains. The upcoming episode will show Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) trying to get Lydia (Holland Roden) out of the Eichen House. However, there are probabilities that Theo (Cody Christian) will cause trouble for them.
In other news, the showrunner surprised fans when he announced a renewal of "Teen Wolf" at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con. During the announcement, Davis was unsure exactly what season 6 would look like for Beacon Hills. Nevertheless, Stilinski (Linden Ashby) has an insight on Scott's next adventure.
In an interview with Hypable, Ashby said, "The story for season 6, as it's been explained to me, is phenomenal. It's great. I'm incredibly excited to film season 6."
