"The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 6 is only a week away from its highly anticipated midseason premiere. The show will pick up from episode 9 titled "No Way Out" and resume the run of the second part of the sixth season. Meanwhile, Norman Reedus, the actor who plays the role of fan-favourite Daryl Dixon, has plenty to talk about the upcoming episodes.

Reedus sat down with Entertainment weekly and revealed some significant details about rest of "The Walking Dead" Season 6. Dixon remained missing for the most part of the first half. However, fans were often treated with a glimpse or two and a Daryl Dixon-centric "Always Accountable." Character's storyline kept him away from Alexandria and his group.

"My storyline sort of took me away from Alexandria while Alexandria was being attacked, so it makes sense," Reedus said about his character's part in the first half of Season 6.

According to "The Walking Dead" (TWD) star, things are going to change and fans are going to get "steadier dose" of Daryl Dixon. He thinks his absence or being away from Alexandria made a lot of sense. At the same time, he is "excited" for Season 6B wherein he "definitely have more to do."

Reedus assured that he trusts showrunner Scott Gimple's vision and thinks Gimple is a great storyteller. He even revealed that it was "a little hard to sit on the sidelines." On the days Dixon was not filming, he would drop by the set and just watch other people work.

Previously, in an interview with Empire Online, the actor warned fans about a massive internal conflict. Reedus also teased a fight and great turmoil. While refraining from revealing too many details, the actor said that the entire group will "clash with that mo*******er."

A 30-second promo video for "The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 6 episode 9 gives the glimpse of the events ahead. One can hear Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) voiceover, "I thought living behind these walls was possible. I was wrong."

It teases the Dixon's first encounter with The Saviours, the group led by Negan. Yet again, there is a giant horde of zombies and Grimes with his axe. While Maggie screams, one can hear Glenn say, "The people you love, they're still part of you, even after they're gone."
