"Jurassic World 2" actress Bryce Dallas Howard recently revealed her character's persona change, wherein it will be nothing like a female lead seen before in "Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic World." In a recent revelation, Howard revealed that Claire is going to be whole lot different in the upcoming sequel. It is rumored that she will be playing bigger lead role than Chris Pratt.

"Jurassic Park" franchise has always had a male lead in a stronger role, fighting with dinosaurs and evil humans. This time around, a huge change in Claire's character will put female lead in the driving seat, while Pratt's character will be in the passenger seat.

In conversation with E! Online at the Sundance Film Festival, Howard revealed that her character Claire would be a different person now. Claire will be seen learning from her past mistakes that she made in "Jurassic World." She will be shunning her high heel form to fight off deadly evil in "Jurassic World 2." The details by lead actress have lead to speculations that Claire's character is being modified in a powerful way. 

Howard further spoke about many details concerning her character and outfit in "Jurassic World 2." She said, "The person she is at the end of the first movie is not the person she was in the beginning." While her armor was that white, pristine outfit coupled with high heels in a corporate environment, Claire will not be that any longer. "The chick at the end is totally different. So yeah... it better not be heels," she continued.

"Jurassic World 2" actress mentioned that she is really excited about her role and she persistently bothers the movie screenwriters, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Howard revealed that every chance she gets with "Jurassic World 2" team, she is utilizing it to obtain as much details as possible about Claire. The actress said that she recently shared some exciting details with Trevorrow and she is particularly looking forward to her role.

In an interview with Wired UK, the first movie's director Trevorrow said that he will not continue screening the same settings. He added that he is keen on using his creativity that will extend beyond the theme parks. It will not be the same old thing with bunch of dinosaurs chasing the people on an island anymore.

After the recent teaser by Trevorrow, speculations have surfaced that the upcoming "Jurassic World 2" will be set in a different location with new plot and characters. The island settings might be replaced entirely with something new. The movie premiere is set to be released worldwide on July 22, 2018.
