Pokemon, Nintendo Collaboration: ‘Super Mario Maker’ is now being joined by three Pokémons – Super Pokemons!

Nintendo's one of the greatest and iconic games ever, "Super Mario," is now being joined by one of the classic game favorites "Pokémon." Wii U exclusive game "Super Mario Maker" recently got updates, adding three starter Pokémons - Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander.

The three Pokemon will be included in new event levels where they can be unlocked and used in the game. Event levels, meanwhile, will start with Pokemon Red, then Green and Blue. Mario will change from one Pokemon to another with the use of the mystery mushroom. Although Charmander is known to have fire power as a Pokemon itself in the "Super Mario Maker" game, he will not be a fire resistant. Players may notice distinctive sound every transformation because Pokemon will make a short crying sound after each transition.

This first collaboration could mean one of the firsts, as other gamers see it as a start of a partnership. "Super Mario Maker" became a massive hit beyond anyone's expectations. It is said that Nintendo is only working an experiment if "Super Mario Maker" will do well in Wii U, but it became extremely successful. In the United States alone, more than 1 million units were sold and 3.34 million copies were sold across the globe.

The gamers' market can sometimes be unpredictable, while others are taking all possible cost only to promote their games' update, contents and other aspects, here comes Nintendo with their classical flagship. Although, the studio was already able to make other projects and games along with updating the versions of their existing games, such "Super Mario Maker" and "Splatoon," according to Cinema Blend.

Pokemon Company is on their 20^th year anniversary, and working with Nintendo's "Super Mario Maker" is just a part of the company's celebration. Other things that Pokemon enthusiasts need to know is that "Pokemon Go," which is a Pokemon game for mobile device users, is currently in the works, while Pokemon fighting games like "Pokken Tournament" is already lined-up for end of 2016 release.

There's a lot of Pokemon collaboration to stay tuned for, in line with the company's 20^th anniversary, so avid gamers should watch out for the next Pokemon characters to be added, or twists that can happen, in the game.
