"The Bachelor" season 20 (2016) has seen Ben Higgins narrowing his search for love down to four women. However, hometown dates in episode 8 may ruin everything that Higgins has established with the remaining contestants.
After a touching goodbye to Emily and Becca in episode 7, Higgins is set to meet Amanda Stanton, Lauren Bushnel, Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher, and Caila Quinn in their hometowns across the country, according to International Business Times.
Higgins will first visit Stanton, the 25-year-old single mother from California's Orange County. He already know that Stanton has two young children, and he has talked to her about it on many occasions. However, it will not be sufficient to quench the concerns of Stanton's parents. They will wonder if Higgins is ready to become an immediate full-time father.
During the Bushnel's hometown date, the 25-year-old flight attendant will take Higgins on a trip of all the best places in Portland, Oregon. According to a different report by the same publication, the two will connect, but Bushnel's sister is uncertain of their relationship. Higgins will have to answer some serious questions from Bushnel's sister.
Higgins will then travel to Hudson, Ohio to meet Quinn and her family. The relationship between Higgins and the 24-year-old software sales representative has been interesting. There has been chemistry between the two, but Quinn has not opened completely to "The Bachelor" star. Quinn's father is waiting to see if the 27-year-old is worthy of his daughter.
The final stop for Higgins will be Dallas to see Fletcher. While Higgins will be happy to reconnect with her, an unexpected surprise will leave the 24-year-old real estate developer in tears and throw things out the window.
The hometown dates will make it difficult for Higgins to decide to eliminate one woman. However, it is something that has to be done. Only three women will remain to fight for Higgins' heart at the end of episode 8.
