First to be called out was Dalton Rappatoni. Multiple sources have revealed that the resident rocker is a favorite among the judges because of his ability to interpret and perform songs uniquely.

Rappatoni was previously part of a rock band so he has had experiences performing in front of people.

According to Heavy, Rappatoni is "creative and different, which is something the judges love."

Meanwhile, Olivia Rocks was second to have been called by the judges.

The teenager has made an impact on Lopez, Urban and Connick Jr. after she belted out a song during her auditions.

Also part of the first four contestants who were called on Wednesday night was Trent Harmon.

Harmon is truly blessed to still be part of the competition especially after he suffered from a contagious illness on Hollywood week.

At that time, Harmon was left with no choice but perform in the group rounds by himself to ensure that the other contestants will not have his illness.

Harmon's song did not only impress the judges; they were also impressed by his dedication and love for his craft.

Last to make it into the top four was La'Porsha Renae, a young mother whose goal is to give her daughter a better life.

Meanwhile, the other six contestants to have been named on Thursday night included MacKenzie Bourg who performed his original song "Roses," Brenda K. Starr's daughter Gianna Isabella who performed Annie Lennox's song "I Put A Spell On You," Avalon Young who performed "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)," Tristan McIntosh who performed "What Hurts the Most," Sonika Vaid who performed Celine Dion's "I Surrender" and Lee Jean who performed "Make It Rain."

The contestants who made it to the top 14 but were axed during the show's first live episode were Jeneve Rose Mitchell, Thomas Stringfellow, Jenn Blosil and Manny Torres.

"American Idol" season 15 airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
