Low-cost carriers AirAsia and Air-X have launched low-cost tickets to various domestic and international routes which will start from Rs 1,099, applicable to tickets booked from March 7 to March 13 for travel starting from Oct. 1 to May 22, 2017.
Making the announcements on March 6, the airline carrier said that the promotion will aid in connecting travelers across 22 countries to more than 100 destinations. There are about three million promotional seats which will be offered for the "Big Sale," as the airline calls it.
According to First Post, the carrier further said that promotional air fares will primarily target domestic destinations such as Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Kochi, Imphal, Guwahati, Goa and Delhi. These flights will be connected by the carrier's arm - AirAsia India.
Guests around the carrier's region are advised to take advantage of its Fly-Thru service so as to connect to many exciting destinations such as Sapporo, Auckland, Gold Coast, Tokyo, Sydney and more. Booking will be available on the airline's website, airasia.com and AirAsia's mobile app on Android and iPhone devices, News Straits Times reported.
Travelers scan now travel to Kula Lumpur from Kochi, Hyderabad or Chennai at a reduced cost of Rs 2,999 onwards. The connectivity of flights to these destinations will get realized by AirAsia Berhad. Tickets to Bangkok from Hyderabad and Chennai will be priced at Rs 3,999 and will be connected by Thai AirAsia.
Chief commercial officer of the AirAsia Group Siegtraund Teh said that the airline has as well added many new and undiscovered routes in the region and urged potential travelers to grab themselves a ticket in order to discover them. The airline is expected to fly around the Asian and Australian continents.
