While Benson deals with the consequences, the other SVU agents come together to bust the "sex trafficking operation deeply-rooted in government offices, the police department, and the Catholic Church." How the department deals with the case remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Benson will be seen working at the Community Affairs. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, "Law & Order: SVU" showrunner Warren Leight revealed where things go from here for Benson. The EP says that it won't be an easy fight for Benson.

"She knows there's nothing she can do right now," Leight said. "It's extremely disorienting to her. The other guy who also doesn't have his job at the moment in Tucker. The two of them are officially sidelined. Unofficially, can they figure out what's going on, how powerful is this ring, or is Tucker involved? I hope she enjoys [being in] Community Affairs for a little while," Leight added.
