"Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 is only two weeks away from its midseason premiere. The Episode 10 is titled "Catfishing Teacher" revolving around high school student's affair with his teacher. In Episode 10 "Catfishing Teacher," Special Victims Unit agent Olivia Benson and her team will be getting back to work and the new case is going to leave them baffled. The network has already released a synopsis for "Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 midseason premiere.
According to Spoiler TV's description, a high school student plans to hook up with one his female teachers. However, his plan hits a snag and he lands himself in a big problem.
A promo video for "Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 teases the events of Episode 10 "Catfishing Teacher." It reveals that the teacher and the student are sexually involved. But the student, a teenager, goes missing and the teacher becomes the subject of scrutiny.
Upon investigation, the Special Victims Unit realises that they are chasing "two predators" in the school. Meanwhile, the promo video teases some shocking discovery.
In addition, "Law & Order: SVU" showrunner Warren Leight teased "scariest episode of the season" (17) in an interview with TV Guide. The EP reveals that Olivia Benson will find herself in a dangerous "hostage situation" due to her own mistake.
"Olivia has been a little bit distracted or slightly off her game," Leight said. "She's doing very good as lieutenant, but she hasn't had a full squad this season. So there's been more and more pressure on her, and she's been making some mistakes. We're going to start out with a moment in which she drops her guard just for a moment and gets herself into a horrible, threatening situation. ... She'll be dealing with the after-effects of that for a little while," he explains.
