"Pokemon GO" gameplay was accidentally revealed to the public when a footage was shown in SXSW 2016, where Niantic's CEO John Hanke talked about the future of augmented and virtual reality.

According to the leaked footage of the said possible "Pokemon GO" gameplay, it seems like the type of Pokemon affects the location of where it will be found. For example, a ghost type Pokemon has a high probability to be located in the cemetery or a similar type of place, while a grass type Pokémon like Ivysaur, which was the Pokemon seen on the video, was captured on a grassy area.

Although there is a possibility that the video could be a sneak peek of what people can expect of the game, but confirmation regarding its authenticity is still in the shadows. Rumors also points out to another angle that the said recorded video could be a creation of a hardcore fan.

Interestingly, whether the leaked video is a marketing strategy, or not, it certainly worked as it snatched the attention of many, particularly the avid fans of the anime. According to Kotaku, perhaps, after the game's field testing, which was announced to begin in Japan soon, will trigger further spoilers in relation to the "Pokémon GO's" gameplay.

Furthermore, the game's trailer also revealed that players can use their Pokemons in duels or battles. This is an affirmation that Niantic did follow the blueprint of the anime version, which makes it highly engaging to the gamers.

"Pokemon GO" is an augmented reality game, in which, gamers will have the chance to be real-life Pokemon trainers, similar to the anime version. The game is quite simple, because one must only need to capture Pokemons nearby. Niantic, the game's developer, created the game to be fully functional globally. In this way, players can travel the world like what Ash and his friends did, in order to find and catch as many Pokémons as they can.

"Pokemon GO" was reportedly set to be out this year, but the exact date is yet to be announced. It was September last year when the Pokémon Company released a trailer of the game. Since then, fans of Pikachu could not wait to finally experience what Ash had.
