Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which was released in August last year, has received a huge discount. The Samsung Galaxy S7 was released in February this year. Both Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7 come with impressive specifications.

Amazon is selling the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 32 GB at a discount of $400. The device is now available for $574. The original price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is $999.

The unlocked Galaxy Note 5 on sale will be compatible with GSM networks such as T-Mobile and AT&T.  The smartphone will not work on CDMA networks like Sprint and Verizon.

Let's take a look at the features of both Samsung devices.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a  5.7-inch super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The screen of the smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Samsung Galaxy S7, on the other hand, has a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, Digital Trends reported.

The Galaxy Note 5 weighs 171 grams and measures 153.2×76.1×7.6mm. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is lighter and thinner as it measures 142.4×69.6×7.9mm and weighs 152 grams.

The Note 5 is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. The U.S. models of the Samsung Galaxy S7 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and models in other markets will pack the Exynos 8890 octa-core processor.

The Note 5 smartphone sports a primary camera of 16MP that features HDR, panorama, face detection, touch focus, OIS, geo-tagging, LED flash and autofocus. In addition, it has a secondary camera of 5MP.

The Galaxy S7, on the other hand, has a primary camera of 12MP that features touch focus, panorama, auto-HDR, geo-tagging, face detection, LED flash and OIS and a secondary camera of 5MP.

The Note 5 comes in internal storage variants of 128GB, 64GB and 32GB. However, it does not offer a card slot for storage expansion. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S7 comes in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 32GB and has microSD support of 200GB of storage.

Both Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 have a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. At present, Samsung Galaxy S7 is selling at $670 in U.S.
