On the other hand, for LG G3, network carrier Verizon has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update. Other network carriers such as Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and AT&T have yet to release the update for their users. Reports suggest that the release seems imminent and the users can check whether their device is prompting for an update or not by going to "Settings" and checking under the "System Update" tab.

Regarding LG G2, a Verizon device was spotted getting the benchmarking test. Hence, it seems that Verizon may release the Android Marshmallow update for LG G2 soon.

However, T-Mobile has confirmed that they are not planning to release the update for this old device. There are also reports, which suggest that some custom ROM developers may develop an Android Marshmallow custom ROM for the device, ahead of the official release.

According to Android Pit, Android Marshmallow update is currently rolling out for LG V10 in Turkey. The update is expected to reach the numerous network carriers in United States, shortly. Other devices such as, LG G Flex 2 and G4 Style are also expected to get the update shortly.

With the Android Marshmallow update, Google has also introduced App Links. It allows the applications to take ownership of the links which belong to them. This gives the users a more enhanced ownership of their devices.
