It was further stated that the couple is planning a small wedding and only close friends and family members are invited. Goo and Ahn want a very simple celebration because they wish for the leftover wedding budget to be donated to charity.

The soon-to-be-married pair has been in a relationship for a little over a year now. They started to date shortly after wrapping up filming for their fantasy medical drama series, titled "Blood," in 2015.

According to KPOP Herald, the lovers first admitted their dating status in March, and apparently, they were able to keep their romance a secret far too long. Both YG Entertainment and HB Entertainment, Goo and Ahn's agencies, immediately confirmed the news.

At any rate, the couple met on the set of mentioned KBS vampire-themed drama and they became close as the filming progresses. In addition, since they traveled together to Europe in order to shoot some scenes, the experience further brought them closer.

Goo is older that Ahn by three years and she is also his senior in the entertainment industry but the couple said this does not bother them in any way. "Through the time we've been together, we have been learning how valuable a life devoted to another being can be, and we intend to respect each other's set of values for the rest of our lives," they explained.

Meanwhile, Ahn will be trying his hand on variety show as he enlisted to be one hosts of tvN's "New Journey to the West" Season 2. The show is a production of well-known TV producer Na Young Seok.
