"The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 7 is months away but speculations and spoilers about episode 1 and Season 6 cliffhanger death are running rampant. The biggest question remains: Who did Negan kill and where things go from here. Meanwhile, actress Lauren Cohan, who plays the role of Maggie Greene, teased what to expect from the premiere segment. "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale ended with a deadly encounter between the survivors and Negan. In the rage of anger, Negan beats one of the survivors to death with his baseball bat Lucille. Season 7 episode 1 is expected to reveal who becomes the victim of Negan's wrath plus what's next for Rick Grimes and his group members.
Speaking to E News, Lauren Cohan assured that the show will come back "with information."
"It's not like people are being left hanging and it's the end of the series or anything," Cohan added. The actress also talked about the highly anticipated "The Walking Dead" Season 7 episode 1 and promised it will reveal answer to fans' questions. She said that the premiere segment will be intense and some unexplored avenues and relationships will be explored.
"I think there will be some answers right off the bat, and it will be very, very intense. And then we'll be exploring avenues and relationships that we haven't yet, but you'll definitely be taken on the roller coaster ride," she said. "I mean, the season comes back with a pretty intense, explosive start. That much I know."
In addition, an alleged leaked video claiming to reveal the filming of the final scene of the "The Walking Dead" Season 6 episode 16 has surfaced. As posted by Facebook Page Fear The Walking Dead Flight 462, suggests Negan killed Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and not Glenn, who is the first saviour to be killed by Negan in Robert Kirkman's comic book.
However, fans must take the information with a grain of salt as the face of the character cannot be seen in the video. And according to the showrunner Greg Nicotero, the finale death scene has not been filmed yet. "The Walking Dead" director told The Hollywood Reporter: "We have not filmed it yet, and I don't know if the person knows yet or not."
In the meantime, it is said the answer to the question "Who did Negan kill" will be revealed as soon as "The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 7 opens. Episode 1 is said to pick up right where Season 6 left off.
