Details of Masashi Kishimoto's latest project, "Naruto Gaiden: The Road Illuminated by the Full Moon," has been revealed in the latest edition of Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Of course, to add more hype ahead of April 25 release, raw pages of the one-shot manga has been released, giving readers a sneak peek of what to expect from the manga.

Details of Latest Naruto Gaiden:

-Kishimoto's one-shot manga will contain 45 pages. It will be included in the combined edition of 21st and 22nd issue of Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump scheduled for release on the 25th of April.

-The story will focus on Mitsuki, the son of Orochimaru, before he becomes a student of Konoha Ninja academy and member of Boruto-Sarada-Mitsuki trio. Kishimoto noted the setting of the story was set prior to the 10-chapter "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" manga, which was released last year.

-In addition, teaser of latest Naruto Manga reveals that Mitsuki was already sent to various S-rank missions even before he took the Chunin exams.

Spoilers:

-Based on the raw pages of the manga, it appears Orochimaru is trying his best to become a father to Mitsuki, giving him all the 'attention' he needs when the young ninja was sick.

-Fighting scenes between Mitsuki and Suigetsu will also be featured, though the nature of their fight is unknown whether that be just a sparring or the other way around.

Right after Naruto One-Shot, the spin-off manga to the original Naruto series, Boruto Manga, is scheduled to make its debut on Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump on May 9. Kishimoto's assistant Mikie Ikemoto will be the lead illustrator, while screen-writer Ukyō Kodach will be provide the storyline. Still, the Naruto creator remains at the center of this great team.
