One Punch Man is an anime TV series produced by Madhouse based from a Japanese webcomic created by One.
The latest details for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature the status of the anime's release date and the plot of the sixth OVA episode.
The release date "One Punch Man" season 2 has been the subject of many online rumors and speculations as many anime fans theorized that season 2 will be out sometime this year or in the early 2017. The official "One Punch Man" Twitter page tweeted an announcement that the anime series will "not doubt" come to Toonami by the end of the year, however, this could mean that season 1 of "One Punch Man" will air on Cartoon Network's Toonami and it will be in English dub.
One of the rumored reasons for "One Punch Man" season 2's delay due to the lack of source materials that will be use for the show and the show will launch next year.
Manga Artist Yusuke Murata stated that they are already updating the source materials for anime, but there has yet to be any details regarding what storyline will "One Punch Man" season 2 will be based on. One such storyline for season 2 will dwell on a "civil war" like plot involving the the Hero Association and the Hero Hunters as Saitaman and Genos are caught in the middle of the fight, Design&Trend reported.
Previous speculations revealed season 2 of "One Punch Man" will introduce the villain Garou, a dangerous martial artist and former pupil of S-Class Hero Silver Fang.The latter taught Garou his martial arts style called "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist" in other to be a hero and not root on villains.
Unfortunately, Garou took the path of evil and was excommunicated by Silver Fang for beating up every student in his dojo and has since acquired many martial art styles in order to become stronger. Garou will encounter Saitama at some point leading to a fierce and epic showdown between the two.
In other news, the last OVA episode of "One Punch Man" will be release on May 27 and it's title name is called "The Murder Case that is Too Impossible".
According to Otaku Tale, the plot of the OVA will feature Saitama, Genos and the rest of the S-Class ranked heroes taking well deserved break in the hot springs after their fight with the alien invaders. However, a mystery murder case appears as S-Class hero Zombieman is "killed" in the process. Saitama and his allies must solve the mystery before they become a target of Zombieman's murderer.
Volume 6 of "One Punch Man" Blu-ray and DVD will feature episodes 11 and 12, the 6th OVA, two episodes of the spin-off anime "One Punch Man Hamidashi Gekijou" (One-Punch Man Forced Out Theater), a non credited versions of the opening and ending themes, an audio drama, character Song CD and english Subtitles.
