Rumor has it that the forthcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be announced at WWDC in June.

Last year, the software company Apple had launched 15-inch and 13-inch models of MacBook Pro in May and March.

According to MacRumors, the upcoming laptop will feature the 6th generation Skylake chipsets. Several reports suggest that the new processor will significantly enhance the battery life and performance of the MacBook Pro 2016.

Touch-Sensitive Keyboard

Rumors are doing the rounds that 2016 MacBook Pro will sport a touch-sensitive keyboard. Also, the keyboard surface will be able to identify touch pressures of different levels and deliver feedback appropriately.

Improvement In Graphics

It is expected that the new laptop will feature new GPU products from Nvidia and AMD. Therefore, the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to bring improvements in the graphics department.

USB-C Ports

According to several reports, the upcoming device will have multiple USB-C ports. In addition, the 2016 MacBook Pro will include Thunderbolt 3 which can deliver 40 GB per second of data transfer speeds, Macworld UK reported.

Reports also suggest that the Cupertino-based company will release 15-inch and 13-inch models of 2016 MacBook Pro. Both devices are expected to feature Retina Displays and will come with thinner chassis.

Speculations are also doing the rounds that the arrival of the 2016 MacBook Pro will possibly result in the axing of MacBook Air lineup. Apple released the first model of MacBook Air in 2008 and the most recent version was released in 2015. The MacBook Air models do not feature Retina Display.

Meanwhile, retailers such as B&H Photo and Best Buy have reduced the prices of MacBook Pro (2015). 

MacBook Air (2015) and MacBook Pro (2015) are at present receiving big discounts. The retailer Best Buy is now selling the MacBook Pro (2015) for $1,199.99 that is a big discount from its initial $1,299.99 price.

Furthermore, B&H Photo is selling the MacBook Air (126GB) for $799 from the original price of $999, and the MacBook Air (256 GB) for $949 from the initial price of $1,099.
