Netflix's hit series "Sense8" will premiere with its Season 2 this December. While most of the original cast members have reprised their roles, one actor made a surprising and controversial exit from "Sense8" Season 2.

British actor Aml Ameen, who played Capheus in "Sense8" Season 1, has been replaced by Toby Onwumere. According to Deadline, Ameen already filmed a couple of episodes before he abruptly left the show due to a spat with "Sense 8" co-creator, executive producer and director Lana Wachowski.

The on-set strife between the two first stemmed during the Season 2 table read in Berlin, and worsened as filming began in India. It was said that "creative differences" may have led to Ameen's exit.

There were also rumors that Ameen was "booted from the set" after making transphoic remarks against actress Jamie Clayton and Wachowski. Clayton has since denied the rumor.

"I never said that! Change can be hard but, I'm staying positive for the show & the fans! Let's choose happiness!" Clayton tweeted.

However, it appears that the actress is "okay" with Ameen's departure and is viewing the change in a positive light.

When Clayton shared the news about the recasting for Capheus on "Sense8" Season 2, she called it "exciting." After her tweet, a fan of the show asked if Ameen's exit would have any negative effect on the show, to which Clayton replied, "Now the writing and the character can shine as they were meant to."

Meanwhile, Out Magazine released new footages from the second season of "Sense8." In one of the photos, the cast is scene gathering together for a birthday party. The picture also shows the new Capheus, Toby Onwumere.

Onwumere is an acting graduate of UC San Diego MFA.

For reference, Capheus "Van Damme" is one of the main characters in "Sense8." He is a young man from Nairobi, Kenya, and he works hard as a bus driver to provide for her mother's medication who is suffering from AIDS. He is one of the eight people around the world linked emotional and mentally in the series.

"Sense8" Season 2 will return to Netflix on Christmas 2016. According to reports, the cast and crew are currently filming in Italy.
