"It's true that Kahi is pregnant. It's been 3 months. She is expected to give birth to her child this November," a representative from her agency, Pledis Entertainment, said in a statement obtained by All K-pop.

The 35-year-old singer-actress tied the wedding knots with Incase Korea's CEO Yang in a private ceremony in Hawaii on March 26. It was learned that the couple had been friends before they started dating and just became closer through their love of extreme sports, including snowboarding and windsurfing, The Korea Times reported.

Soon after the good news made the rounds on the web, some individuals speculated that Kahi might have conceived already even before marriage. However, the representative was keen to dismiss the speculations and stressed that the singer did not know about her pregnancy before marrying and was even astounded after finding out that she was already three months pregnant, after going to a hospital to receive a monthly checkup.

Kahi made her debut as a backup dancer for BoA, Country Kko Kko, Jinusean, 1TYM, Lexy, and among others in 2000. She debuted in Jan. 2009 as a leader of After School and shortly decided to leave the girl group in pursuit of a full-time solo career.

It is said that Kahi is the third of the five original members to leave After School after So Young and Bekah. The singer also embarked on her acting career and has been cast in 2012's "Dream High" Season 2 to play Hyun Ji Soo, a teacher at the Kirin Art School.

Kahi's last project in Korea was the 2014's musical adaptation of "Bonnie & Clyde," wherein she played the lead role of Bonnie, and was a dance trainer on Mnet's girl group survival show called "Produce 101." Check out the video below:
