"Empire" season 2, episode 18 may see Anika (Grace Gealey) finally confessing to pushing Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) down the stairs.
In the teaser released by FOX for "Past is Prologue," Rhonda and Anika were featured fighting with each other. At one point, Rhonda screamed at Anika and told the latter that she knows she pushed her down the stairs.
However, according to Design N Trend, this spoiler is just a little bit too straightforward and revealing so it could just be a way to mislead fans from the actual information. With this, it's possible that Rhonda only thought Anika was the one who pushed her when she really didn't.
Meanwhile, the finale episode for "Empire" season 2 will reveal what exactly happened to Jamal (Jussie Smollett). In the previous episode, one of Lucious' (Terrence Howard) sons fell into the hands of the villainous character Freda Gatz after he engaged in a heated argument with his father.
There are some speculations that Jamal might have been killed off, because the actor himself already hinted as his departure from the hit FOX series.
In other news, it was previously confirmed that Lucious' mother Debbie is still alive. However, as of now, no one knows what she plans to do.
The teaser for episode 18 showed Debbie at the hospital where Jamal was confined at. When she was asked to reveal what her relationship to the patient is, Debbie chose to stay silent. However, by the looks of it, Debbie is out for blood and she is also ready to expose the dirt of her own son.
Meanwhile, there are also some speculations that Freda may be working with FBI to either save her face or to admit to what she has done with Jamal in the previous episode.
At that time, Freda shot Jamal. But the latter's father Lucious is also indebted to Freda and her family because Lucious was the one who killed Freda's dad. All of these connections will hopefully be explored when the show returns on Wednesday night.
