So far, it unknown yet what the real purpose of Batman within "Suicide Squad" movie aside from the chase scene with Harley Quinn and The Joker. However, one cast member from film teased what role will the Cape Crusader play during the events to the film.

Cast member Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje told Fandango that most of the members of Task Force X have an encounter with Batman before in his crusade to fight crime and save Gotham from them.

The claim makes sense since Killer Croc (Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Harley Quinn, Deadshot (Will Smith) and The Joker are all associated in Batman's rogues gallery. Akkinnuoye-Agbaje added that Killer Cros is already been a criminal to begin with and one of the more dangerous individuals in the DC Extended Universe so far. He cited the "Batman: The Animated Series", comics and real-world aspects to prepare him for the role.

In other news, it seems that Warner Bros. looks to have a spin-off movie based on Harley Quinn very soon and stated that Robbie will not only starting in the movie, but will also be one of its producers, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Robbie had some production experience through her production company LuckyChap Entertainment, which is currently in post-production on its first feature, a noir thriller "Terminal". In fact, she pitched the concept of a female-centric DC movie to Warner Bros. and the studio “flipped over her take” on it, thus the possibly of the spin-off movie might become a reality.

So far, Warner Bros. has not yet officially announced the "Harley Quinn" solo film and will likely depend on how "Suicide Squad" will perform well in the box office and cinemas around the world.

"Suicide Squad" will be release in cinemas on Aug. 5.
