The plot of the original "Jumanji" film was about a magical game board that summons dangerous beasts and other animals to the real world, and the book also summons Alan Parrish who got trapped in the book for 26 years. The 1995 film was a blockbuster hit with a total gross of $262.8 million dollars.

Reports said that Johnson really respects Williams, and how the actor managed to bring the film in to the best of what it has to offer. The "San Andreas" star also revealed that he will be honoring Williams in the anticipated film. He added that William's role as Alan Parrish will not leave the franchise, and that it will be immortalized.
