By the looks of it, Scarlett's confession about her feelings is not going to sit well with Gunnar.

In the teaser released by ABC for "Maybe You'll Appreciate Me Someday," Scarlett told Gunnar that she's in love with him.

"I'm in love with you, Gunnar," she said.

Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) will also be owning up to her recent actions in the upcoming finale episode of "Nashville" season 4.

In the past, the female character has gone through so many struggles with her life that she was able to surpass.

"It's time for me to take responsibility," she said.

Additionally, the finale episode will revolve around Will and his protestors. This time around, he will face his detractors head on.

Here's a look at the finale episode of "Nashville" season 4:

"Rayna takes action when she discovers Maddie has come in contact with a deceitful figure from her past; Juliette must decide how to deal with the truth of Jeff Fordham's death; Scarlett and Gunnar consider splitting up."

In other news, "Nashville" season 4 has been cancelled by ABC.

According to multiple sources, one of the biggest reasons had to do with the show's ratings.

Last season, there were also some ongoing rumors that the show would be cancelled, but it was still given another chance by ABC.

This time around, it seems that the show could no longer be salvaged because other than its decreasing ratings, the storylines every week have already become quite predictable.

Some fans also claimed that the storylines for majority of the characters on the once-hit ABC series became somewhat dragging. For instance, it took such a long time for Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) to get back together.

There was also very little development with regards to the lives of their onscreen children.

"Nashville" season 4, episode 21 will air on ABC on May 25.
