The Android Marshmallow update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S5 on the T-Mobile network carrier. It is also releasing for Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Galaxy A9, HTC One M8 and One M9 on the AT&T network carrier.

The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update is releasing for Samsung Galaxy A9. Android Marshmallow update is rolling out in a phased manner for all the users and all the users are expected to get the new firmware by mid-June.

Following in the footsteps of network carrier Sprint, T-Mobile released the  Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S5, according to T-Mobile's support forum. The build numbers of the firmware are G900TUVU1GPE1 and G900T3UVU1GPE1. 

The Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S5 is more than 1GB and users can check their devices to see if they are eligible for the download or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Phone> About Software.

On the other hand, network carrier AT&T is finally rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for HTC One M8, M9, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and S6, according to Android Authority. Other network carriers such as Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile have already released the update for these devices.

The Android Marshmallow update is rolling out in a gradual manner for all the above-mentioned devices. All the users are going to get the update by the end of June. While downloading the update, the users need to connect their devices to an unmetered and stable Wi-Fi connection.

The Android Marshmallow update for these devices is over 1.5GB. Hence, the device needs to be connected to a power source if the battery levels are less than 50 percent for an uninterrupted download. 

Android Marshmallow comes with Android Pay, which is entrusted with biometric security for safe and secure transactions. It comes with the new Doze and Standby feature, which increases the battery life of the device. Users can also customize app permissions as per their wishes.
