Images of OnePlus 3 smartphone have been leaked. Two of the images that have widely circulated the Internet reveal hidden features of the device.
From the leaked stills, OnePlus 3 will come with USB Type-C, besides the 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will sport a 5-inch 1080 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 16MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage capacity, according to Techno Buffalo. Apart from the 6 GB of RAM/64 GB variant, OnePlus 3 will also come in a 4 GB of RAM/32 GB of storage.
A close analysis of the leaked images by Phone Arena reveals that OnePlus 3 has a camera similar to what was spotted on Samsung Galaxy S6. There are chances that the upcoming device will not adopt the design of its precursors, OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, but it will sport HTC 10's design.
With regard to the said design, OnePlus 3 will feature a sleek design, come with a glass front, and a black textured material at the back. The smartphone will have a home button double the size of a fingerprint scanner. It is evident from the leaked images that the phone will have its power button on the right hand side and the volume buttons on the left hand side.
It is possible that the much-awaited smartphone will ship with two speakers. Fans will have hands on an Android 6.0.1-based OxygenOS 3.0 with the upcoming device. As if that is not enough, the OnePlus 3 comes with a 35mAh battery.
There are reports that OnePlus 2 already filed a patent for Dash Charge technology. The phone manufacture learned a lot from the first flagship phone, something that helped get the OnePlus 2 of the ground. Thanks to timing and scale, OnePlus operations have improved to Goldilocks principle of just right.
As aforementioned, the phone will come in two variants - the 32 GB and the 64 GB models. Customers will get the 32 GB model for $310 and the 64 GB will cost $385. According to CEO Pete Lau, OnePlus will sell its smartphones in the United States.
