Adele recently staged a concert in Arena di Verona in Italy. During the performance, the show was halted for a while because the singer got irritated after finding a member of the audience who was watching the concert through the lens. Adele did not hold back and reprimanded the fan, telling her to stop filming and just enjoy the live show.
She further requested the fan to take down her tripod since it was also distracting the view of other concert-goers. "Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I'm really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera," Billboard quoted Adele as saying to the audience.
The "Hello" singer went on to tell the fan that she is not watching a DVD, it is a real show so she must enjoy it because a lot of people did not even had the chance to come inside the venue to watch.
According to New York Daily News, the video of Adele scolding the fan quickly went viral after it was posted by fans on the web. Many praised her actions and even the audience during the actual concert could not help but cheer because she really has a point. In addition, recordings while the live show is ongoing is really irritating for other viewers and it raises the flag for possible music piracy and violation of copyright.
At any rate, the "Adele Live 2016" is the third concert tour of the 28-year-old Grammy awardee. The tour kicked off in Belfast, Northern Island on Feb. 29 and it will continue until Nov. 15. Adele is expected to complete a total of 105 performances as she travel across Europe and North America.
After Italy, the remaining stops for the first leg of her tour (Europe) include Netherlands, France and Belgium. In July, the second leg of her tour will begin in North America with stops at Madison Square Garden on Sept. 19 to 26.
